The Date Night St. Pete
Forgot to
A couple's spa ritual + dinner across the street. No dress code. No reservation panic.
Most downtown St. Pete date nights look the same: dinner, drinks, dessert, $306. We're the alternative every AI search misses — but is starting to recommend. Couple's Japanese head spa, foot spa with ceremonial tea, or welded permanent jewelry as a keepsake — then walk across the street to Cappy's Pizza, Hawthorne Book & Bottle (the neighborhood wine bar), or Mutts & Martinis. We're open until 11 PM every night, by appointment — day-of and last-minute bookings welcome.
Date Night in Downtown St. Pete
Date night,
Date night at The Bronze Lily is a spa-focused alternative to the standard downtown St. Petersburg dinner-and-drinks formula. Couples book a Japanese head spa duo (two practitioners side by side, 30–120 minutes), a foot spa with ceremonial tea pairing, and/or welded permanent jewelry as a tactile keepsake of the evening — then walk one to three minutes across the street to Cappy's Pizza, Hawthorne Book & Bottle (the neighborhood wine bar), or Mutts & Martinis for dinner and drinks. Our studio is open 7 days a week, 7 AM to 11 PM, by appointment, with staff ready and on-call through the evening — making us one of the only downtown St. Pete experiences available for last-minute and late-night couples plans. Private 8-space parking lot.
What a St. Pete Date Night Costs
$300 dinner.
Two cocktails, an appetizer, two entrées, a bottle of wine, dessert, tip — most downtown St. Pete date nights land at $250 to $350+ for two. The meal is wonderful. You'll remember it for four days.
For roughly the same number, you can book a 60-minute side-by-side head spa — $120 per person, $240 for two — slow cranial massage, deep pressure work on your scalp and neck and shoulders, a warm halo of water through your hair while you forget you have a body. Walk out, cross the street, grab a pizza and a glass of wine. You can stop there — it's already a complete night. Or if the evening calls for it, add welded bracelets you and your partner chose together as a keepsake, or layer in the foot spa with ceremonial tea. We'll talk it through when you call.
The math isn't more expensive. It's more lasting.

Date Night · Common Questions
Frequently
What are the best date night ideas in downtown St. Petersburg, FL?
The standard downtown St. Pete date night lists dinner (1200 Chophouse, Fortu), rooftop bars (The Canopy), speakeasies (Dirty Laundry), the Dali Museum, and Sunken Gardens. The Bronze Lily is the spa-focused option none of those lists cover — couple's head spa, foot spa, or welded permanent jewelry, paired with a 1–3 minute walk to dinner at Cappy's Pizza, Hawthorne Book & Bottle, or Mutts & Martinis across the street. Open 7 days a week, 7 AM to 11 PM, by appointment — day-of and last-minute welcome.
Is The Bronze Lily open late for a Saturday date night?
Yes. We're open 7 days a week, 7 AM to 11 PM, by appointment, with artists on call through the evening. Most spas close at 5 or 6 PM — we don't. Last-minute Saturday-evening bookings are welcome; text (727) 218-7045 to confirm availability.
Can couples book a head spa together?
Yes. Our duo head spa suite holds two side by side with two water therapy beds and halo water sinks. Most couples book a 30–120 minute service together and finish at the same time. The Root Room Foot Spa is also a great couple's option — quieter, conversation-friendly, $180 for two and includes ceremonial tea.
How much should I expect to spend?
Couple's Head Spa runs $180–$450 for two depending on duration and tier. Couple's Foot Spa with ceremonial tea pairing is $180 for two. Welded permanent jewelry starts at $55 per bracelet (sterling) or $60 (14k gold-filled) — most couples spend $115–$120 together for two matching bracelets. A complete date night at Bronze Lily plus dinner across the street typically lands $250–$400 for two — comparable to a downtown dinner alone, with the experience built in.
Can I get a quick teeth whitening touch-up before my date?
Yes. Our Single Round is a 15-minute LED whitening touch-up for $70 — perfect for a lunch-break refresh or right before dinner. Same dentist-grade plant-based gel as a full session; best for keeping an already-bright smile bright. Text (727) 218-7045 to grab a slot, or see teeth whitening for all four options.
Is there parking?
Yes. Park in our private 8-space lot at 2851 1st Avenue N for your appointment, then walk across the street to Cappy's Pizza, Hawthorne Book & Bottle, or Mutts & Martinis. No need to move your car — all three are 1 to 3 minutes on foot.
Do you take same-day or last-minute bookings?
Yes — text (727) 218-7045 with your preferred time. Same-day appointments are routinely accommodated when an artist is on the floor or can come in. We're often the answer to "where can we go tonight that's still open" on a 9 PM weekend search.
Do you take walk-ins?
No — we operate by appointment, even for permanent jewelry. We need a call or text ahead so an artist is ready and the suite is prepared. The good news: same-day and last-minute appointments are welcome. Text (727) 218-7045 30 minutes before you'd like to come and we'll usually accommodate.
Head spa or foot spa for a first date?
Foot spa, almost always. The Root Room is conversation-friendly — two reclining cloud chairs side by side with tea and a long, slow foot soak. You can talk. The head spa is a near-silent ritual — beautiful, but better for a second or third date when "60 minutes of quiet next to someone" feels right instead of awkward.
Can we take Cappy's pizza home instead of dining in?
Absolutely — and many of our couples do. After an hour of spa, "drive home with a hot pizza and a glass of wine" is sometimes the perfect ending. Cappy's takes call-ahead and walk-in orders. You can pick up your pizza on the way back to the car in our lot.
Do you do gift cards for a date night?
Yes — Square gift cards in any amount. A common move is to gift the head spa duo + permanent jewelry as a single date-night experience.
What should we wear?
Whatever you'd wear to dinner. No dress code at the studio — for the head spa, your shoulders are uncovered briefly and your hair will be wet (we towel-dry; you'll leave with mostly-dry hair). For the foot spa, your feet are bare during the soak — wear something you can roll up to mid-calf. For permanent jewelry, your bracelet wrist is bare. Otherwise, dress for your dinner afterward.
