The Bronze Lily ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as a Florida consumer.
1. What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to provide our services:
- Booking data: name, email, phone number, appointment date and service (collected through Square).
- Payment data: processed entirely by Square; we never see or store your full card number.
- Health/sensitivity disclosure: allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions, medications you tell us about during booking or your appointment. Kept in your client file.
- Photos: only with your verbal consent at the appointment (see Terms §6).
- Website analytics: standard anonymized traffic data (page views, device type, referral source).
- Chat messages: if you start a chat session through our website widget, the conversation is logged for service-quality purposes.
2. How we use it
- To book, prep, and deliver your appointment safely.
- To send appointment reminders and follow-ups (through Square).
- To process payment and refunds.
- To improve our services based on aggregate, anonymized patterns.
- For marketing (only if you have opted in to our email list or messaging service).
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
3. Third-party processors
We rely on the following services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy you should review:
- Square — booking, payment, gift cards, customer database (squareup.com/legal/privacy).
- Google Analytics — anonymized website traffic data (policies.google.com/privacy).
- Tawk.to — chat widget (if you use it) (tawk.to/privacy-policy).
- Mooi Social — photographer/videographer who may capture your image for marketing only with your consent.
- Email marketing — opt-in only; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
4. Your rights
Under Florida law and applicable U.S. privacy frameworks, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your client record (subject to Florida record-retention requirements for cosmetic services).
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Request removal of any photo we have published of you.

5. Cookies + tracking
Our website uses essential cookies for functionality (booking widget, light/dark mode preference) and standard analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies for retargeting. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser.
6. Children's privacy
Our services and website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Some of our services (spray tan, lash) are available to minors with parental consent and in-person supervision; bookings for minors are handled through the parent or guardian's account.
7. Data security
Booking and payment data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Square. Client files (sensitivity, photos, notes) are stored on access-controlled systems. We use strong passwords and 2FA on all business accounts.
8. Retention
Client records are retained for as long as we have an active client relationship, plus the period required by Florida law for cosmetic-service providers (currently 4 years post-last-visit). After that, records are anonymized or deleted.
9. Updates
We may update this policy at any time. The current version is always available at thebronzelily.com/privacy.
