Allergy-Conscious Spray Tan · St. Petersburg, FL
Spray tan for gluten-free, vegan and sensitive clients,
What is in the bottle, what is not, and how to find out on your own skin first.
If you read labels for a living, a spray tan is a reasonable thing to be nervous about. The solution here is organic, vegan and cruelty-free, free from gluten, sulfates, silicones, parabens, formaldehyde and mineral oil, and applied by hand in a private suite. A complimentary patch test is yours for the asking — and if you have a list of ingredients you cannot touch, call or text (727) 218-7045 before you book and we check the solution against it.
The short answer
Ingredients and allergies,
Gluten: the solution is gluten-free. Vegan: yes, and cruelty-free. Parabens, sulfates, silicones, formaldehyde, mineral oil: none. Nut, soy or other specific allergies: we do not make a blanket claim on these, because we would rather check the actual ingredient list against your allergy than promise something from a web page. Call or text (727) 218-7045 with your list before you book — plenty of clients do exactly that — and we go through it with you, then the patch test confirms it on your skin. Fragrance-sensitive: odour neutralisation is built into every tan, so there is no classic spray-tan smell, and we talk through scent at intake. Reactive or eczema-prone skin: the patch test is where we find out, on a small area, with nothing riding on it.

What we can tell you
What is (and is not) in the bottle,
In: an organic, vegan, custom-blended sunless solution (DHA-based like every spray tan, derived from sugar) with built-in odour neutralisation and skin-care-grade hydration. Mixed per client for depth and undertone.
Not in: gluten, sulfates, silicones, parabens, formaldehyde, mineral oil. No animal-derived ingredients and no animal testing.
Not a claim we make from a web page: nut-free, soy-free, or free of any specific allergen we have not named here. Those are answered one client at a time, with the ingredient list in front of us — by phone or text before you book, or in the studio — because your allergy deserves the actual document, not a confident sentence.
Never named: the supplier. We do not publish the brand, so the ingredient review happens with us directly: call or text (727) 218-7045 with the ingredients you need to avoid and we read the list against them before you book.
Being honest about it
The patch test,
Ask for it. The spray tan patch test is complimentary, on request, 24–48 hours before a first appointment. A small area is sprayed with the mix we would use on you. Most clients never need it; anyone with a reaction history should take it.
What it tells you. Whether your skin reacts to the solution, and what the tone looks like on you. What it cannot tell you is how you will react to a product you have never been patch-tested with before — which is the whole reason to do it.
Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis. A tan can go over calm, intact skin; it should not go over active, broken or weeping patches. Tell us where they are and we work around them or wait.
Medication and sun sensitivity. A spray tan is UV-free and does not photosensitise, but if you are on a medication that affects your skin, mention it; your artist adjusts and, when in doubt, sends you to your doctor first.
Cancellations. Twenty-four hours’ notice is required. Cancellations under 24 hours are 50% of service cost; no-shows, arrivals 15+ minutes late, or cancellations under 4 hours are 100%. All bookings require a card on file — no deposits. Phone call or text to (727) 218-7045 are the only valid ways to cancel or reschedule. All sales are final.

Allergy-Conscious Spray Tan · Common Questions
Ingredients
Is your spray tan solution gluten-free?
Yes. The solution at The Bronze Lily is free from gluten, as well as sulfates, silicones, parabens, formaldehyde and mineral oil. It is organic, vegan and cruelty-free, custom-mixed per client and applied by hand in a private suite.
Is the spray tan vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes — no animal-derived ingredients and no animal testing. Every formula (Signature, Standard Rapid, Sweat-Resistant Rapid) is vegan.
Is the solution nut-free?
We do not make that claim from a web page. Call or text (727) 218-7045 with your specific allergy or your full list before you book — many clients do — and we go through the solution ingredients against it, then a complimentary patch test confirms it on your skin. Your allergy deserves the actual document, not a confident sentence.
Can I get a patch test before a spray tan?
Yes, complimentary on request, 24–48 hours before your first appointment. A small area is sprayed with your custom mix so you see both the skin response and the tone before committing.
Does the spray tan have fragrance or that spray-tan smell?
Odour neutralisation is built into every tan, so the classic smell is not there. If you are fragrance-sensitive, say so at intake and we talk through scent before anything goes on.
Can I get a spray tan with eczema or psoriasis?
Over calm, intact skin, yes; not over active, broken or weeping patches. Tell us where they are, take the patch test, and we work around them or wait until they settle.
Which formula is gentlest?
All three are the same ingredient philosophy; the Signature ($45) at a lighter depth is the usual first choice for reactive skin because it develops slowly overnight. The Rapid formulas ($57/$63) are the same base with faster development.
What is the solution brand?
We do not publish the supplier. Call or text (727) 218-7045 with the ingredients you need to avoid and we read the list against them before you book — you do not have to come in to ask. Book a Signature tan online or text (727) 218-7045 to arrange a patch test first.
