THE SHORT ANSWER
When should I get a spray tan
For a cruise, book your spray tan one to two days before you sail so the color sets and any guide bronzer washes off first. Choose a sweat- and water-resistant organic formula so it holds up to sun, pool, and salt water across the trip.
The Bronze Lily is a short drive from Port Tampa Bay, with spray tans from $45 in-studio or $100 mobile to your hotel (free within 10 miles). Open 7 AM–11 PM seven days a week, rated 4.9 from 318 reviews.
TIMING IT RIGHT
Get the color
Cruise timing is everything. Come in one to two days before you sail: that lets the tan fully develop, gives you a first rinse to clear the cosmetic bronzer, and leaves you with clean, even color for embarkation photos. Any earlier and you lose days of depth; any later and you risk transfer.
Prep matters too — exfoliate and skip lotions and oils the day of, so your canvas is clean. We'll send you off with after-care instructions to stretch the tan across the whole itinerary.
WHY OURS TRAVELS WELL
Sun, pool,
A cruise is brutal on a cheap tan — chlorine, ocean, sunscreen, and sweat all conspire against it. Our organic, UV-free solution is sweat- and water-resistant and conditions the skin, so it fades evenly instead of blotching after your first pool day.
Short on time before you leave? Our mobile service can come to your Tampa-area hotel the night before — a spray tan ($100/person), and even group teeth whitening ($185/person) for a photo-ready smile — so they're one less thing to squeeze into embarkation morning.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Cruise spray tan —
How far ahead of my cruise should I get a spray tan?
One to two days before you sail is ideal. That lets the color set, gives you a first rinse to clear the guide bronzer, and leaves clean, even color for the trip.
Will the tan survive the pool and salt water?
Our organic, UV-free solution is sweat- and water-resistant and fades evenly. With proper after-care it holds up well across a cruise, though frequent swimming will naturally soften it over time.
