St. Pete bachelorette weekends are a real industry now — and the bachelorette beauty pipeline needs planning, not chaos. Here's how I'd run the weekend if I were the maid of honor responsible for getting everyone home with great photos and a tan that survived the boat day.

Tampa Bay sits on the same coastline as bigger bachelorette destinations like Nashville, Miami, and Charleston, but at a fraction of the price. Airbnb stock is enormous, beach access is easy, downtown is walkable for restaurants and bars, and the studio scene has matured fast over the last five years. The challenge isn't finding things to do — it's sequencing the beauty and wellness right so the bachelorette weekend looks great in photos and on the wedding video weeks later.

Here's the stack, day by day, with the logistics that actually matter.

Why St. Pete works for bachelorette weekends

A few reasons groups keep choosing us over Nashville or Miami:

  • Airbnb and rental stock is huge. Downtown Old Northeast neighborhoods, Snell Isle, Treasure Island, and St. Pete Beach are all loaded with 4-to-8-bedroom rentals built specifically for these groups.
  • Walkable downtown. Beach Drive, Central Avenue, the Pier — bars, rooftops, restaurants, breweries, all on foot.
  • Beach access without the LA traffic. 20 minutes from downtown to St. Pete Beach. No drama.
  • Tampa airport (TPA) is 25 minutes from downtown. St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE) is 15. Groups can fly in from anywhere.
  • The studio scene is mature. Mobile services, welded jewelry, group spray tans, group whitening — all standard offerings now, not novelties.

Day 1 (arrival night) — mobile spray tans at the Airbnb

Land your group's first beauty service the same evening everyone arrives. Mobile spray tan is $100 per person, Sweat-Resistant Rapid formula — the only sweat-resistant rapid available in St. Pete. Schedule the tans for late afternoon so the color develops while the group is at dinner.

Our spray artists set up a private station in a guest bathroom at the rental. Each person takes about 15–20 minutes. A 6-person group is done in roughly 2 hours. Wear loose, dark clothing to dinner. Don't shower until the morning — Rapid formulas need 4 hours minimum to develop. By breakfast, the tan is set.

This is the right order because Day 2 is the photo day, and you want everyone glowing by the time the boat or beach happens.

Day 2 (boat day or beach day) — protect the tan and prep for tomorrow

The tan is set. Now you have to not undo it. The rules:

  • Sunscreen carefully and frequently. Spray sunscreens are gentler on a fresh tan than rub-in lotions. Reapply every 90 minutes on the boat.
  • Rinse before swimming if there's a pool shower. Chlorine and salt are less aggressive against pre-rinsed skin.
  • Pat dry, never rub. Towel rubbing is the single biggest cause of "I lost my tan after the beach" complaints.
  • Lukewarm shower after the boat. Hot water opens pores and pulls DHA out.
  • Light face masks and an early-ish bed. Tomorrow is studio day.

Day 3 (studio session) — The Lobby Photo + welded jewelry + teeth whitening

Booked in advance, the whole group comes to the studio at 2851 1st Avenue N in downtown St. Pete. This is the studio session — the keepsake moment of the weekend.

The Lobby Photo: our shared 1920s first-floor lobby has a pink telephone booth and our permanent jewelry station. Every bachelorette group photographs there. It's become the unofficial St. Pete bachelorette portrait location. The photos always run in the wedding-video montage weeks later.

Welded jewelry station: sterling silver bracelets ($55) or 14k gold-filled ($60), welded shut so they live on your wrist permanently — the "we did a bachelorette" keepsake. Under 5 minutes per person. The bride usually wears hers to the wedding.

Teeth whitening (in-studio): $150 per session, 3 guests at a time. Plant-based dentist-grade gel, 45–60 min per round, 4 to 8 shades brighter per session. Safe on all dental work including crowns and veneers. Schedule the whitening for the morning so the 48-hour white diet is largely behind everyone before flights home.

Tampa Bay sits on the same coastline as bigger bachelorette destinations at a fraction of the price.

The bride's separate prep — what she should book away from the group

If the bride's wedding is in the next 12 weeks, don't stack wedding-week services onto the bachelorette. Bachelorette is for fun, not for wedding-day prep. Specifically, book these on separate visits, not during the bachelorette weekend:

  • The Total Brow — needs to land 8 to 12 weeks pre-wedding, not 1 to 4. (See our brow lamination cadence article for the why.)
  • Lash full set — needs a calm hour, not group energy. Schedule it 2 weeks before the wedding instead.
  • Package whitening — the Bridal Package whitening session should land 5 to 7 days before the wedding, not during the bachelorette.
  • Facials — need post-treatment downtime, not boat days. Schedule the package facial 1 to 2 weeks pre-wedding.

The bride should enjoy the bachelorette as a guest, not as a beauty patient. Save the wedding-week pipeline for a quieter trip back to the studio.

Teeth whitening for the whole group ($185/person mobile, 3 at a time)

If you want whitening done at the rental instead of at the studio, mobile group whitening is $185 per person. Same gel, same LED protocol, same 45–60 minute session, 3 guests at a time. This fits great into Day 1 or Day 3 of the bachelorette schedule.

The smart move: bundle mobile spray tan plus mobile welded jewelry plus mobile teeth whitening on the same trip. One mileage fee covers the whole booking. If your rental is 10+ miles from our studio (St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, anywhere off-island past Pinellas Park), this is the cheat code.

Logistics — who books what, when, mileage, bundling

The maid-of-honor cheat sheet:

  • Mobile within 10 miles of the salon = travel included. Most downtown St. Pete and Snell Isle rentals fall in this zone.
  • 10+ miles = mileage fee applies. Reasonable, distance-based.
  • Bundle multiple mobile services on one trip = one mileage fee. Stack spray tan + jewelry + whitening for max value.
  • Day-of bookings add $15. Plan ahead when possible.
  • No required deposit, no group minimum. Even 2-person groups can book mobile.
  • Mobile jewelry pricing is "contact us" only — quoted per group based on count and rental location.
  • Card on file occasionally requested for larger groups but not standard. Flexible.

What NOT to book during bachelorette

Three things to keep off the bachelorette schedule, even when the group asks:

  • Lash extensions. Need a calm hour in a quiet room, not group laughter at the rental. Schedule pre-trip or post-trip.
  • Facials. Need post-treatment downtime, not boat days and pool exposure. Same logic — pre-trip or post-trip.
  • The Total Brow. Do this 8 to 12 weeks before the wedding, not during the bachelorette. (And don't try to squeeze a lamination touch-up in if you had The Total Brow done in the last 8 weeks — we won't book you sooner.)

Pick the right services for the weekend's energy. Save the slow services for quieter trips.

The custom-quote logistics call

We don't publish bachelorette packages because every group is different. A 4-person Friday-only group is different from a 10-person three-day group, and pricing should reflect that. Custom-quote per group: text or call 727-218-7045, tell us the group size, the rental location, and which services you want. We'll build the pipeline.

Tampa Bay is the best bachelorette market on the East Coast right now. Use it well. Plan the sequencing. Bundle the mobile. Book the studio session for the photo. Then go enjoy the weekend.
