Most lash lifts work the same way: your lashes are wrapped around a curved silicone rod, glued into position, and permed into a consistent curl. It is a good service and we have done it for years. Our artists trained on the Korean technique through Elleebana — the same brand whose products we have used for lifts and brow lamination all along — and it changes three things.
A flat shield, not a curved rod
Your lashes start flat against an ultra-flat silicone shield and are lifted from the base, then transitioned onto a rod to finish. That opens the eye by raising the lash rather than rolling it over, so you keep the length you actually have instead of curling it out of view.
Nothing glued to the lash line
A thickened lifting lotion holds each lash in place, so there is no adhesive against your lash line at any point in the service. For anyone who has found a traditional lift sticky or uncomfortable at the base, this is the difference they notice first.
Styling, section by section
Because the lashes are placed rather than wrapped, the artist can style each section separately — more lift at the inner corner, more direction at the outer. This is why it is the better method for lashes that grow unevenly, sit stubbornly straight, or are coarse enough that a standard lift drops out early.
Korean or traditional 
?
Both are real services and we are keeping both. Neither is a downgrade — they suit different lashes and different budgets. If you are not sure, book either one and tell your artist at the consultation; she will move you if the other is the better fit.
Both last one full lash cycle, usually six to eight weeks, and neither has fills — the lift grows out as your natural lashes shed and are replaced.

This is the part most studios cannot match. Seven of our artists are trained on the Korean method — Elyssa, Lauren, Rose, Brit, Katherine, Victoria and Adriana — which means a lift is not gated behind one person’s calendar. We take lash appointments every day of the week, and the studio is open 7 AM to 11 PM.
Book whoever is available. Every one of them trained on the same Elleebana curriculum and works to the same standard, so there is no “the good one” to hold out for. By appointment only — same-day and next-day openings are common, and a text usually gets a real answer within minutes.
Before you book, so your lashes land 
Come with clean lashes. No mascara, no oils, no eye cream on the day. Anything on the lash stops the lotion working evenly.
Leave them dry for 24 hours. No steam, no swimming, no rubbing. After that, live normally.
We will say no when we should. A lift will not work on damaged or over-processed lashes, and we will not re-lift the same lashes more often than roughly every three months. If that is where yours are, you will get a timeline instead of an appointment.

What is a Korean lash lift?

It is gentler on the lash line because nothing is glued to it, but no lift will work on lashes that are already damaged or over-processed. If your lashes are in poor condition we will tell you at the consultation and give you a timeline instead of a treatment. That answer has not changed with the new method.
