The short answer
A lash lift & tint ($100, tint included, about 60 minutes) curls and darkens your own natural lashes — no extensions, no daily upkeep, no fills. It lasts one full natural lash cycle (roughly six to eight weeks), it’s the lowest-maintenance lash option we offer, and because it’s done by our trained lash team, it’s often bookable sooner than extensions. Best for people with straight or downturned lashes who want an effortless wake-up-ready look. See the lash menu or book it.
Not everyone wants extensions — the fills, the maintenance, the aftercare. A lash lift and tint is the quieter option: it makes the lashes you already have look like their best version, and then it gets out of your way for a couple of months.
A lash lift is, in plain terms, a perm for your lashes — a gentle setting solution curls them up and open from the base, so lashes that pointed straight out or down now sweep upward. Paired with a tint (included in our price), they’re darkened root to tip, so your natural lashes read as if you’re wearing mascara you never have to apply. It’s all your lashes — nothing is added.
Lash lift vs. lash extensions — which is right for you?
This is the real question, so here’s the honest breakdown. Extensions add length and volume by bonding fibers to each lash — the most dramatic look, but they need a fill every two to three weeks and careful aftercare. A lash lift & tint adds no length; it maximizes what you already have, needs zero daily maintenance, and simply grows out gradually over a natural lash cycle. Choose a lift if you want low-commitment, low-maintenance, and a natural result — or if you’re a first-timer testing the waters. Choose extensions if you want length and drama and don’t mind the upkeep. One practical note: our extensions book a few weeks out on a waitlist, while a lift & tint can usually be scheduled sooner with our trained lash team.
Extensions add lashes. A lift perfects the ones you already have. Neither is “better” — they’re answers to two different questions.
How long does a lash lift last?
A lift & tint lasts one full natural lash cycle — roughly six to eight weeks — and it fades gracefully as your lashes naturally shed and regrow, so there’s no hard “grown-out” line and no fills to keep up with. Most clients rebook every six to eight weeks. We won’t lift more often than about every three months on the same lashes, because over-processing is exactly what damages them (more on that below).
Does a lash lift damage your natural lashes?
Not when it’s done correctly and not too often. We use the Elleebana lash lift system with Elleeplex ReGEN built into the setting step — a conditioning, hair-strengthening treatment that locks moisture into the lash and offsets the stress of the curl (when tinting, the Elleeplex Profusion tint nourishes while it colors). Just as important is knowing when not to lift: we won’t perform a lift on lashes already damaged from a previous lift or from extensions, or more than roughly every three months — doing so only causes more damage. A studio willing to tell you “not today” is protecting your lashes, not losing a sale.
Who is a lash lift & tint best for?
- Straight or downturned lashes that a curler never holds — a lift is the fix that lasts.
- Low-maintenance people who want to wake up ready and skip mascara, without fills or aftercare fuss.
- Glasses and contact-lens wearers — lifted lashes stop brushing the lenses.
- First-timers curious about lash services but not ready to commit to extensions.
- Before a trip, wedding, or big weekend — effortless lashes for photos with nothing to reapply.
- Anyone on an extension break who still wants their natural lashes looking their best.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
A lash lift & tint is $100, with the tint included, and the appointment takes about 60 minutes — you relax with your eyes closed the whole time. If it’s your first lash service with us and you’re sensitive or new to tint, ask about the free patch test, offered 48–72 hours ahead.
How do I prep and care for it?
Come with clean, bare lashes — no mascara or eyeliner for 24–48 hours beforehand, no oils or serums around the eyes, and remove your contacts. Afterward, the only rule that matters is the first stretch: keep them dry and steam-free for 24 hours (no swimming, saunas, or hot showers on your face), and skip mascara — with the tint, you won’t want it anyway. After that, you’re free; a clean lash serum is the one nice-to-have if you want to baby them between lifts.
