Short answer: most lash artists in St. Petersburg work weekday daytime hours, which is exactly when you are at work. The Bronze Lily books lash appointments seven days a week until 11 PM — our lash artist Rose starts full sets as late as 9 PM and fills as late as 10 PM, Saturday and Sunday included. No half-day off required.
If you have ever tried to book lash extensions around a full-time job, you already know the problem. You find an artist whose work you like, you open the booking page, and every slot on it is between nine and four on a Tuesday. The service is designed for you and scheduled for someone else.
Why is it so hard to get lashes if you work full time?
It is not a shortage of artists — it is the shape of the trade. Lashing is detailed, seated, appointment-based work, and most artists build their books the way any small business owner would: around school runs, daylight, and a weekday rhythm. That is entirely reasonable, and it produces a market where the people most likely to want extensions are the least able to book them.
We were part of that problem for years, and it is worth being honest about it. Larae lashes Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Elyssa lashes Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Both are excellent. Both keep hours that ask you to take time off work.
What changed
Rose joined the studio as a lash artist working all seven days, with three years behind the lash bed and Larae’s sign-off to work to the Bronze Lily standard. Because the studio itself is open 7 AM to 11 PM by appointment, that translates into something specific rather than vague: a full set can start as late as 9 PM, and a fill as late as 10 PM, any day of the week.
The appointment you could not find at 6 PM on a Thursday is very often still there at 8.
How late can you actually book a full set?
Nine o’clock, and the reason is arithmetic rather than policy. A new full set runs 90 to 120 minutes — Classic is fastest at around 90 minutes, Volume & Hybrid sits around 100 to 120, and Mega Volume runs around 120. Against an 11 PM close, 9 PM is the last honest start for a new set. Fills are quicker at 60 to 90 minutes, so they can begin as late as 10 PM.
A Classic full set is $120, Volume & Hybrid $150 and Mega Volume $180, with fills from $65 and a Mini Fill at $45 inside the 6–7 day window. Evening appointments cost the same as morning ones — there is no after-hours surcharge.
Does a late appointment mean a worse set?
It should not, and that is the part worth scrutinising when any studio advertises late hours. The honest test is whether the late appointment gets the same time, the same room and the same protocol as the 10 AM one. Here it does: every set is in a private suite, by appointment only, at full length, using the isolation, mapping, weight selection and bond-sealant finish every artist trains into before working on a client.
Convenience is only worth something if the work holds. If it does not, you have simply bought a faster route to a set you will want removed.
What about weekends?
Both weekend days run the full 7 AM to 11 PM window. Saturday is the busiest day in the studio, so it books out first. Sunday is the calmest — and most other lash studios in the area are closed on Sundays, which makes it both the easiest appointment to get and the most unhurried one to sit through. Making one trip of it
If you are coming after work anyway, it is worth stacking the visit. A Japanese head spa, the Root Room foot spa, brows or a spray tan before a trip can all sit in the same evening. If you are new to extensions
Two things worth knowing before you book a late first appointment. If you would like a patch test, that has to be a separate earlier visit — we offer patch tests on request rather than automatically, so it cannot be folded into the same appointment. Already wearing a set from another artist? Our Outside Fill is $110 for about 90 minutes and most studios will not work over someone else’s set at all. It runs with Elyssa, Larae or Rose and can start as late as 9:30 PM, seven days a week.
