Lymphatic Drainage Massage — The Bronze Lily, St. Petersburg, FL

Lymphatic Drainage · St. Petersburg, FL

Lymphatic drainage, the calm way.

The opposite end of the scale from deep tissue. Light hands, a steady rhythm, one direction.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a 60-minute session of light, rhythmic, directional strokes along the lymphatic pathways, with Niasja S., LMT — the session people ask for after a flight, a long day on their feet, or when they simply feel puffy. $145 · 60 minutes · Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM, in a private suite in Historic Kenwood.

The short answer

What it is, in plain terms.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage at The Bronze Lily is its own service, not a pressure setting on the regular session. It is 60 minutes, $145, with Niasja S., LMT — a Florida-licensed massage therapist with ten years in practice — and it is available Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM, with the last start at 3 PM. The strokes are very light, slow and repetitive, and they move in one direction along the body’s lymphatic pathways. If you have only ever had deep tissue, it will feel like almost nothing is happening. That is the technique, not a therapist holding back.

It is not a medical treatment and we never describe it as one. See the full massage page for the regular session, or prenatal massage if you are expecting.

What the hour is like

Light hands — what to expect.

Pressure is feather-light. The lymphatic vessels sit just under the skin, so the work stays at the surface. Nobody is leaning in, nothing is being dug out, and you will not be sore afterwards. People who find a regular massage too intense often find this is the one they can relax into.

There is an order to it. The session follows the direction the lymph travels, working the areas nearer the centre of the body before the limbs, in long, slow, repeated strokes. It is methodical in a way that most massage is not, and the rhythm is a large part of why it is so quieting.

When people book it. After travel, after a long day standing, during a hot St. Pete week, or any time they feel puffy and heavy. Some book it on its own; some alternate it with the regular full-body session.

Sixty minutes, on its own. Lymphatic drainage is offered at 60 minutes only and is not mixed into the regular session. If you want deeper work as well, book the regular 60, 90 or 120 on another day — the two are different hours with different aims.

Being honest about it

Whether it's right for you.

We do not make medical claims. You will find lymphatic drainage described online as a cure for a long list of things. We do not describe it that way. It is a light, rhythmic, skilled hour that many people find leaves them feeling lighter and calmer, and that is the whole promise.

It is not post-surgical care. If a surgeon has prescribed manual lymphatic drainage as part of recovery, follow their referral to a provider working under medical direction. We are a beauty and wellness studio, not a medical provider, and we do not take post-surgical lymphatic clients.

Tell us what is going on. Anything relevant — recent illness, a condition you are managing, a pregnancy — goes on the intake form and into a quick conversation before you lie down. If you are expecting, prenatal massage is the session built for that.

If you wanted pressure, this is the wrong page. Deep tissue and the regular full-body session are where the firm work lives. Lymphatic drainage is deliberately the opposite, and booking it expecting a deep massage is the one way to be disappointed by it.

Cancellations. Twenty-four hours’ notice is required. Cancellations under 24 hours are 50% of service cost; no-shows, arrivals 15+ minutes late, or cancellations under 4 hours are 100%. All bookings require a card on file — no deposits. Phone call or text to (727) 218-7045 are the only valid ways to cancel or reschedule. All sales are final.

Lymphatic Drainage · Common Questions

Lymphatic drainage FAQ.

Do you offer lymphatic drainage massage in St. Petersburg?

Yes. Lymphatic Drainage Massage is its own 60-minute session ($145) at The Bronze Lily, 2851 1st Avenue N in Historic Kenwood, with Niasja S., LMT. Light, rhythmic, directional strokes along the lymphatic pathways. Available Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM, by appointment.

How much is a lymphatic drainage massage?

$145 for 60 minutes. It is priced on its own and is not offered at 90 or 120 minutes. No packages and no deposits — a card on file holds the appointment.

What does lymphatic drainage massage feel like?

Very light. The strokes stay at the surface of the skin, move slowly in one direction and repeat. If you are used to deep tissue it can feel like almost nothing is happening — that is the technique. Most people find it deeply quieting, and there is no soreness afterwards.

Is it a medical treatment?

No, and we never describe it as one. It is a light, skilled, rhythmic hour that many people find leaves them feeling lighter and calmer. If a doctor or surgeon has prescribed manual lymphatic drainage as part of a recovery plan, follow their referral to a provider working under medical direction; we do not take post-surgical lymphatic clients.

Who does the lymphatic drainage?

Niasja S., LMT, a Florida-licensed massage therapist with ten years in practice. It is her session only, which is why it is available Monday through Wednesday rather than six days.

Can I combine it with a regular massage?

Not in the same hour. Lymphatic drainage and the regular full-body session are different techniques with different aims, so they are booked separately. Plenty of people alternate them — lymphatic one week, the regular session the next.

When is it a good idea to book?

After a flight or a long drive, after a long day on your feet, during a hot week, or any time you feel puffy and heavy. If you are pregnant, book prenatal massage instead; if you are newly postpartum and feeling swollen, ask about it when you book and check with your doctor first.

What days can I book?

Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM with Niasja S., with the last 60-minute start at 3 PM. Not available Thursday through Sunday. Book online on Square, or call or text (727) 218-7045.
