Prenatal massage for the body doing
You are growing a person. Let someone take care of the one doing the growing.
A dedicated 60-minute prenatal session with Niasja S., LMT — side-lying and fully supported, with pressure and positioning adjusted to how far along you are. Not a regular massage with a pillow added. $135 · 60 minutes · Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM, in a private suite in Historic Kenwood.
The short answer
Prenatal,
Prenatal Massage at The Bronze Lily is its own service, not the regular full-body session with adjustments. It is 60 minutes, $135, with Niasja S., LMT — a Florida-licensed massage therapist with ten years in practice — and it is available Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM, with the last start at 3 PM. You lie on your side, supported with bolsters and pillows, and she works at a pressure and in positions chosen for the stage you are at. By appointment, in a private suite; never on Sunday.
Tell us you are expecting when you book, and how far along you are. Prenatal is Niasja’s session only — our other therapist, Lisa S., does not take prenatal clients — so it lives on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. See the full massage page, or the new-mom self-care page for after the baby arrives.
What the hour is like
Side-lying, supported,
You never lie flat on your stomach. The session is done on your side, with bolsters under the belly, between the knees and behind the back, and part of it semi-reclined. Changing sides is slow and assisted. Nothing about the positioning is left for you to manage.
The work goes where pregnancy sends it. Lower back and hips carrying new weight, the upper back and neck from the way you have started to sleep, legs and feet that are doing more than they used to. Pressure is moderate by design, and it is still a conversation: more, less, or leave that alone, and it changes on the spot.
Sixty minutes, on purpose. Prenatal is offered at 60 minutes only. Long sessions on one side, then the other, are more than most expecting bodies want, and an hour is enough to do the work properly without asking you to hold a position for too long.
What to wear, what to expect. Standard massage draping — you are under a sheet, and only the area being worked is uncovered. Come as you are; there is nothing to bring, and you are welcome to use the restroom as often as you need to, including mid-session.
Being honest about it
What to tell us
How far along you are, and anything your doctor or midwife has said about massage. If your pregnancy is considered high-risk, or you have been told to limit certain activities, get their okay before you book — and tell Niasja at intake either way. We adjust to what you tell us; we do not guess.
We do not make medical claims. Massage is not treatment. It is an hour of skilled, careful work on a body under real load, and that is the whole promise. If anything is new, sharp or getting worse, that is a conversation for your provider first.
It is not the deep tissue session. If you came looking for heavy pressure, deep tissue is for after the baby arrives, not before. Prenatal is built around support and moderate pressure on purpose.
After the baby. Once you are cleared, the regular full-body session (60, 90 or 120 minutes) with Lisa or Niasja is yours again, six days a week — and if swelling is what bothers you, lymphatic drainage is the lighter, rhythmic alternative. The new-mom self-care page lays it all out.
Cancellations. Twenty-four hours’ notice is required. Cancellations under 24 hours are 50% of service cost; no-shows, arrivals 15+ minutes late, or cancellations under 4 hours are 100%. All bookings require a card on file — no deposits. Phone call or text to (727) 218-7045 are the only valid ways to cancel or reschedule. All sales are final.

Prenatal Massage · Common Questions
Prenatal massage
Do you offer prenatal massage in St. Petersburg?
Yes. Prenatal Massage is its own 60-minute session ($135) at The Bronze Lily, 2851 1st Avenue N in Historic Kenwood, with Niasja S., LMT — side-lying and fully supported, with pressure and positioning adjusted to your stage. Available Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM, by appointment.
How much is a prenatal massage?
$135 for 60 minutes. It is a dedicated prenatal session, priced on its own, and it is not offered at 90 or 120 minutes. No packages and no deposits — a card on file holds the appointment.
How will I be positioned?
On your side, with bolsters under the belly, between the knees and behind the back, and part of the session semi-reclined. You never lie flat on your stomach, and changing sides is slow and assisted.
Who does the prenatal massage?
Niasja S., LMT, a Florida-licensed massage therapist with ten years in practice. Prenatal is her session only; our other therapist, Lisa S., does not take prenatal clients, which is why prenatal is available Monday through Wednesday rather than six days.
Should I check with my doctor first?
Tell your doctor or midwife you are planning a prenatal massage, and tell us how far along you are and anything they have said. If your pregnancy is high-risk or you have been told to limit activity, get their okay first. We do not make medical claims and we always defer to your provider.
Is it different from a regular massage?
Yes. The regular full-body session here is one integrative hour drawing on deep tissue, Swedish and trigger point at a pressure you set. Prenatal is a separate, slower session built around side-lying support and moderate pressure, with the work going where pregnancy sends it: lower back, hips, upper back, legs and feet.
Can I book a prenatal massage as a gift?
Yes — a Bronze Lily gift card covers it, in any amount, and it never expires. Friends and family can even pool one as a group gift. She books the session herself for a day that suits her.
What days can I book?
Monday through Wednesday, 10 AM to 4 PM with Niasja S., with the last 60-minute start at 3 PM. Not available Thursday through Sunday. Book online on Square, or call or text (727) 218-7045.
