The short answer
Fair skin and spray tan, 
Two things decide whether a spray tan on pale skin looks natural. Tone: fair skin is usually cool or neutral, and a warm, red-leaning solution is what reads orange on it; the mix is adjusted so the colour sits in the golden-olive range your skin would actually go in the sun. Depth: the artist sprays lighter than she would on someone who starts tanned, because a pale canvas shows every percentage point. Then the craft: the face is hand-shaded lighter than the body, the neck is faded so there is no line, and hands and feet get a dry-brush pass so they never go dark. Every formula here is organic, vegan, odour-neutralised and custom-blended per client; nothing is sprayed from a booth.

How we tan fair skin
Fair skin, 
Read the undertone. Before anything is mixed, your artist looks at the inside of your wrist, your jaw and your chest in daylight. Cool, neutral or warm decides the base; freckles and redness decide how light the first pass is.
Mix for you, not for a chart. The solution is blended per client. For fair skin that usually means a lighter depth and a tone pulled away from red. If you want barely-there, say so; if you want a real holiday tan, say that, and the mix changes.
Hand-airbrush, with the face lighter. The face takes less than the body on purpose, the neck is faded by hand, elbows, knees, hands and feet are dry-brushed so they match rather than grab. This is where a booth fails pale skin and a human does not.
Check it before you leave. You see the colour in the suite lighting and your artist confirms your first-shower time. Signature develops 8–12 hours; the two Rapid formulas 1–4 hours and then keep developing to full depth.
Being honest about it
Which formula is 
First time, nervous: the Signature ($45), mixed light, booked a week before you need it. You learn exactly how your skin takes colour with nothing riding on it. Most fair-skinned first-timers go a shade darker the second time.
Need it today: a Standard Rapid ($57) rinses in 1–4 hours, and because you choose the rinse time, you also choose the depth — rinse early for lighter, later for deeper. Your artist tells you the window for your mix.
Florida, sweat, the beach: the Sweat-Resistant Rapid ($63) holds through humidity and water once developed, and lasts 10–14 days against 7–10.
If you burn, scar or freckle easily, tell us. A spray tan goes over freckles and most scars evenly, but very new sunburn or peeling skin should heal first or the tan will come off with it. Exfoliate and shave 24 hours ahead, not the day of, and skip lotion, oil, perfume and deodorant the morning of.
Cancellations. Twenty-four hours’ notice is required. Cancellations under 24 hours are 50% of service cost; no-shows, arrivals 15+ minutes late, or cancellations under 4 hours are 100%. Yes, when it is custom-mixed and hand-applied. Fair skin reads orange when a warm, red-leaning solution is sprayed at one depth for everyone. Can redheads or people with freckles get a spray tan?
Yes. Freckles stay visible and the colour goes over them evenly; the solution is mixed for the cool or neutral undertone that often comes with red hair. Mention redness-prone or very reactive skin and we book a complimentary patch test first.
How dark will a spray tan go on fair skin?
As dark as you ask and no darker. Depth is set by the mix and, with the Rapid formulas, by when you rinse — earlier for lighter, later for deeper. Most pale first-timers start light and go a shade darker the second time.
Which spray tan formula is best for pale skin?
For a first tan, the Signature ($45) mixed light, booked a week before you need it. For same-day, the Standard Rapid ($57). For Florida sweat and water, the Sweat-Resistant Rapid ($63), which lasts 10–14 days.
Do you offer a patch test or a trial?
Both. A complimentary patch test on request, 24–48 hours before a first appointment. And a trial tan is simply a Signature booked a week early so you know how your skin takes colour.
Will my face match my body?
Yes — the face is hand-shaded lighter than the body on purpose and the neck is faded so there is no line. Hands, feet, elbows and knees are dry-brushed so they never grab darker.
How should I prepare if I have fair or sensitive skin?
Exfoliate and shave 24 hours ahead, not the day of. The morning of, shower and skip lotion, oil, perfume and deodorant. Let new sunburn or peeling heal first. Wear loose, dark clothing to the appointment.
How long does a spray tan last on pale skin?
